Data controller

The controller of personal data is Gradual Coaching, Gašper Rebernak, [PROVIDER ADDRESS]. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

Through the contact form: first name, surname, email address, phone number, the content of your message and the source of your visit (an ad or a referral).

When you buy a package: name, email address, phone number and subscription details. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.

In the portal and the app: body measurements, progress photos and videos, training and food logs, voice and text messages with your coach and your answers to the first questionnaire.

If you switch on Apple Health or Health Connect in the app: steps, sleep, morning weight, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV) and the workouts a watch or another app writes there (for example Apple Watch or WHOOP): type, duration, distance, energy burned and the name of the device. The app only reads them and writes nothing back. You can switch the connection off in Account at any time.

When you sign up for the free e-book: your email address, the page language and, only if you tick it separately, your consent to news with the time you gave it.

Technical error data: the error message, the page and the type of device, so we can fix the error.

Guided photos

During guided photos the phone itself detects your body position and guides you by voice. The camera image is not sent anywhere until you review the photos and send them to your coach.

AI help for your coach

Only if you explicitly allow it in the check-in, your coach may use AI to draft a reply. Your check-in (weight, measurements, ratings, notes, answers to the coach's questions) and last week's numbers are then sent, without your name, email, phone or photos, to Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf and does not use them to train models. Your coach always reads, edits and sends the reply. You can switch this off at any time in the check-in.

AI meal estimate

If you photograph a meal in the app and allow it at your first photo, the photo is sent, without your name or email, to Anthropic, which recognises the foods and estimates the amounts. Only what you confirm goes into your diary, marked AI. If you choose so, the photo is kept in your diary so your coach can see and comment on it; you can delete it at any time. You can switch this off in the app under Account.

Purpose and legal basis

We use form data to answer your inquiry. The basis is your consent.

We use the email address from the e-book form to send you the e-book. We send tips, news and offers only if you tick that separately in the form and confirm it with the link in the email you receive. The basis is your consent, which you withdraw with the unsubscribe link in every message or at [email protected].

We process subscription data to perform the contract and issue invoices. Invoices are kept as long as the law requires.

We process portal data to deliver coaching. Because measurements, body photos and health data are sensitive, we process them only on the basis of the explicit consent you give at first sign-in. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who sees the data

Portal data is visible only to the client and their coach. Photos, videos and voice messages are never public.

We do not sell data. It is processed only by providers working on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google Firebase, Apple and Google (delivering app notifications; a new message notification carries the sender's name and the start of the message; the client can turn the text off in Account for their whole conversation), Anthropic (drafts of replies by the coach and meal estimates from photos, only with the client's permission). Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Portal data is kept until you delete your account or withdraw consent. Inquiries are kept until the conversation is closed, newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, invoices as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can export all your data yourself in the app (Account, Download my data) and delete your account there.

For other requests write to [email protected]. You can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).

Cookies

The portal uses one essential cookie for sign-in. On the website, analytics and advertising cookies (Google, Meta) load only after you accept them in the banner. Change your choice under Cookie settings in the footer. The portal and the app use no cookies for advertising or tracking.

We may update this policy. Changes are published on this page, and we tell you about important ones by email.
